Howdy! | Mama Elephant

Hi everyone! I tried to create a masculine birthday card so that I have at least one at stock. It's not so easy for me to choose the images and so on for masculine cards and often I end up with a more female looking one nevertheless :)

I used the Clearly Besotted stamp set 'all in onesies' to stamp the background. Then I chose Gansai Tambi watercolors to color them in. For the brown background color I used distress inks.

While letting the background try, I stamped the rest of the images from 'rowdy raccoons' with Memento tuxedo black and colored them in with Copic markers. I love the coordinating dies because they also cut the details around the lasso. I used a white paper strip to stamp the sentiment with Lawn Fawn walnut ink and diecut a vellum circle to soften the area around the raccoon a bit.

Last but not least I adhered everything to a green cardbase.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Christmas Card #7 | Clearly Besotted

Hi everyone! I just love making Christmas cards and that's why I am already showing you my 7th one for this year :)

I started by heat embossing the trees included in the stamp set 'Let's prance' from Clearly Besotted with white embossing powder. Then I used the distress ink peeled paint to create the background.

I diecut three circle tags using the 'Columbus circle' die from Mama Elephant and stamped the three sweet reindees in the centre of each tag. Without any masking I blended the distress colors shabby shutters, abandoned coral and fertilized amber. Then I colored the reindeers with Copic markers. I used a red ribbon to transform the tags into Christmas ornaments and used another stamp set from Clearly Besotted to stamp the sentiment which I fuzzy cut.

Last but not least I assembled the card, adhered it to a craft cardbase and added some red glitter enamel dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Save the drama | MFT

Hello! I am here with my third and last entry for the MFT Card Design Superstar Contest! Again I used the 'llama love' stamp set - I am so in love with the images but also with the genious sentiments!!

So first I diecut the stage using 'take the stage' dies from MFT. For the screen I blended some distress inks to receive sort of a dessert scene. I stamped the images and colored them in with Copic marker. Then I fuzzy cut them and adhered the cacti directly onto the sceen. I stamped the sentiment before glueing everything to a craft cardbase which also forms the floor. I adhered the llama with foam dots so that it stands in front of the sceen.
My card was already finished. I just love clean cards with awesome messages :)

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Fiesta like there is no manana | MFT

Hi there! I am here with my second entry for the MFT Card Design Superstar Contest. This time I used the 'Llama Love' and 'Spooky Sweets' stamp set.

First I stamped and heat embossed some stars leaving an area for my images in the centre of watercolor paper. Then I used cracked pistacchio distress ink to color it in very softly. I stamped my images and colored them in with distress colors too. I added a "whool"-texture to the llama and a wire around the cactus. For the lightbulbs I used some pearls.

Next I diecut the piece of paper using one of the 'stitched scallop basic edges'. I colored in the bottom of the white cardbase with cracked pistacchio and peacock feathers distress inks and heatembossed the great sentiment from the llama love stamp set.

Last but not least I adhered the watercolor paper to the cardbase and the fun card was finished :)

Thank you so much for stopping by and have an awesome day!
