Birthday Flowers | Avery Elle

Hello everyone! Finally I could make a card with the beautiful 'hand drawn florals' from Avery Elle.

I stamped the images with Archival jet black ink and used masking paper to layer the flowers. Then I colored them in with Windsor and Newton watercolors. I stayed in a hotel when I colored them - for traveling I prefer my Windsor and Newton palette because it is handier.

Then I covered the flowers again and blended some weathered wood distress ink. In the centre I stamped the sentiment included in the set.

Then I diecut the  piece with the larger die from the set 'postage stamp' and adhered the frame to a cardbase. I added orange fun foam to the centre and adhered the diecut piece onto the foam. This resulted in a nice dimension.

Last but not least I added some Nuvo drops in gold coast.

Christmas Card No. 3 | Avery Elle

Hello everyone! Clean and simple cards are one of my favorites. So I created this CAS card for Christmas with the sweet Avery Elle stamps from the set 'Winter Woodland Wonders'.

First I stamped a white cardstock with the 'Forest & Deer Bold Prints' in LF manatee dye ink. After that I die cut the piece of stamped paper and another white cardstock with the 'Essential Dover-Up horizontal' die. I adhered the pieces to a white cardbase and then I stamped the sweet images and colored them in with Zig clean color real brush markers.

I created the sentiment with the 'calli letters' and 'calli upper letters' which means "happy holidays" in English.

Once everything was adhered I used the clear Wink of Stella brush to add shimmer.

Birthday Bus | Avery Elle

Hello everyone! This time I am really on to the dailymarker30day challenge which lasts all September long. Although there isn't much time I enjoy coloring a bit every day. That's why I don't have many minutes for writing blog posts and completing card projects.

However, I can show you this Birthday card for today. I made two at once for my stash. I started with coloring the cute birthday bus from Avery Elle with Copics. After fuzzy cutting the image I created the background by stamping more images from the set with manatee Lawn Fawn dye ink. 

Then I used a heart stencil and Nuvo embellishement mousse to create some texture. I colored in strips of paper with Copics and used the sentiment from the set. After adhering all to the cardbase I added some Nuvo drops and shimmer with the wink of stella pen.

Welcome back!!! | MFT

Hello everyone!!! It's been a long while since my last blog post. There have been a few changes in my life which kept my quite busy :)

Now I am feeling ready to continue with my blog, I hope to create a new logo and spread my blog even more. Let's see :-D 

Today I made this happy summer card using the MFT stamp set 'polynesean paradise'. I stamped a bunch of flowers as well as the cute girl from the set and colored them in with Copic markers. Then I fuzzy cut all them. I used the ink smooshing technique with distress ink (peeled paint) to create the background. I die cut the second largest oval frame from the Avery Elle die set 'sweet scallops' and arranged the flowers around the oval window shape. The negative piece I stamped with the MFT 'etched flowers' background stamps and distress oxide ink in peeled paint also.

Last but not least I adhered the frame and the girl with foam tape to a craft cardbase after I had glued the oval negative piece to the base.

Hi cutie! | Lawn Fawn

Hello everyone! Today I created a card to send out all year 'round. I used products from many different companies and I really love combining them.

With Lawn Fawn dies I created the mailbox, the stitched rectangle and hill. I colored in all the pieces with distress ink before diecutting them. On some of the images I sprinkled water droplets and some of them I just left as they were. Otherwise it woulde be too overwhelming, I guess. The mailbox from 'happy mail' is the focus point of the card and I just love this die also the sweet little envelope you can tuck in.

For the background I used the 'postage stamp' die from Avery elle and the grass is made with dies from 'jungle friends' from MFT.

For the greeting I chose a very versatile one from 'labeled messages' (Mama Elephant).

I think the card doesn't need more details so I left it when everything was adhered to a white cardbase.
