You are lovely | Mama Elephant

Hello everyone! Last year I hadn't the chance to use the stamp set 'Lil' painters' from Mama Elephant too often. So I decided to make another card with those cute bunnies and chickens.

I colored the images with Copic markers and die cut them. Then I created the watercolor background with distress oxide ink (fossilized amber) using the ink smooshing technique. I also diecut the front with one of the dies from 'landscape trio'.

For the inside I used the 'pivot pop-up' die from Lawn Fawn. The background for the little scene is blended with distress oxide ink (peeled paint). From the older set 'Ella and Friends' I used the bubble stamps and created more texture. I used the same distress oxide ink and also 2nd and 3rd generation stamping to create different shadows.

After that I adhered the images for the inside and created the pivot pop up. The sentiment on the front is from the older stamp set 'brushed florals'.

Thank you for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Best (Easter) Wishes | Mama Elephant

Hi everyone! I think the stamp sets 'Lil' painters' and 'Little bunny agenda' from Mama Elephant go so well together :)

I stamped a bunch of the sweet images and colored them in with Copic markers. After diecutting them I prepared the background with Distress Oxide inks.

I used the peppermint layering stencil from Stampers Anonymous but instead of layering I covered some small stripes with tape and will the rest of them with tattered rose ink. Then I repeated the procedure covering the rest of the stripes and removing the "empty" ones.
For these I chose shaded lilac.

I scattered some splatters with the same ink and adhered the images to the card. The sentiment is from the Mama Elephant stamp set 'Mini messages'. Last but not least I added some Nuvo Jewel drops.

Thank you for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Have the best Easter | Clearly Besotted, Mama Elephant

Hi there! I am finally back with the last Easter card for this year. I used the brand new stamp set 'Best Easter' from Clearly Besotted as well as different stamp sets from other awesome companies!

I startet by die cutting a circle from a piece of pale green cardstock using the 'sew fancy' die set from Mama Elephant. Than I used two different egg stamps and one butterfly from Easter Lawn Fawn sets along with Versamark ink. I heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder to get that tone on tone design. With the distress ink shabby shutters I darkened up the edges of the green cardstock to get more definition. Then I prepared the pastel yellow cardbase by blending some white Yeti pigment ink from Lawn Fawn.

I put the background pieces aside and startet with the cute images from Clearly Besotted and the adorable rabbit from 'Lunar Animals'. I stamped them with Archival jet black ink onto watercolor paper and colored them in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I covered the balloons with glossy accents and let them dry.

Then I assembled the card by adhering the embossed piece of paper with double sided adhesive and the images with foam dots.

For the sentiment I used the greeting included in the set from Clearly Besotted and stamped it onto a piece of Lawn Fawn pattern paper (Hello Sunshine collection). Again I used foam dots for adhering the banner and added some enameld dots.

Have a nice day and thank you for stopping by!

Happy Easter | Clearly Besotted

Hi there and happy Friday! I have another Easter card to share with you. I used the adorable stamp set 'Chirpy Chicks' from Clearly Besotted stamps. When I first saw the set I knew I had to stack the sweet chicks and therefore I used a white 21x10.5 cm (8,3" x 4,1") cardbase.

I cut a strip of Copic friendly paper and stacked most of the images included in the set. Due to the little feet it was possible to stack them without using masking paper which allowed me to stamp the images in no time at all. After that I colored them in different shades of yellow using Copic markers. The tiny sentiment is from the 'Chirpy-Chirp-Chirp' stamp set from Lawn Fawn which I curved and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black too.

For the background I used two new Lawn Fawn papers in yellow and black and added a strip of white net to add more interest and dimension. I adhered all my layers with double sided adhesive and the card was pretty much done!

A very simple but cute card where the chicks get all the attention :)

Thank you for stopping by and I'll see you soon!
