Christmas Card #17 | MFT Stamps

Hi there! I didn't have much time for crafting this week so I skipped the blog entry too. I posted my Christmas Card #16 only on Instagram and here is the picture of it:

For today's Christmas Cards I used the images which I colored for the #dailymarker30challenge with Copics and distress inks.

I created for cards and for each of them I diecut 2 snow hills using 'landscape trio' dies from Mama Elephant and 6 birch trees from MFT out of white cardstock.

For the background I used another piece of white cardstock and blended the soft color tumbled glass. I adhered everything to the background and diecut the leafs out of glitter cardstock.

After adhering them too I added the sentiment with grey ink and chose a silver/beige metallic cardbase.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Christmas Card #15 | MFT and Mama Elephant

Hi there! I am really trying to keep up with the #dailymarker30day challenge. The huge bonus: card making is much faster with pre-colored pieces ;-)

I created this winter scene using the 'hillside cover' die from Mama Elephant as a background. I blended the color cracked pistaccio for a light sky and added the little snow-/starfall from 'Pix's happy holiday'. I also diecut some birch trees from MFT and softly inked them up with hickory smoke distress ink. For the leaves I used white glitter paper.

To complete my scene I added the cute images from 'merry everything' (MFT) and 'Pix's happy holiday' (ME) which I had colored in with Copics and fuzzy cut the day before.

To add a little bit more interest I diecut some trees from the 'home collection' (ME) and inked them up with cracked pistaccio too.
The sentiment was stamped with merman ink from Lawn Fawn.

Thank you for stopping by and have a fantastic day!

Christmas Card #14 | Clearly Besotted

Hi there! It's the first day of the 30 day coloring challenge and I decided to try to join it ;-)
With this Christmas card I started from scatch because only the cute deer is really colored.

I used the 'layered wreath' stamp set from Clearly Besotted to create that beautiful wreath and used silver sparkle embossing powder for the second layer. I also decorated it with nuvo glitter drops.

The label and sentiment both are from the same sentiment and for all these elements I used Lawn Fawn dye inks. For the background I chose a settle pattern with 'festive' stencil from Tim Holtz and hickory smoke distress ink.

To add a little bit more interest I adhered blue glitter paper to a craft cardbase and adhered the front panel with foam tape to the base. The little deer is clued to the panel with foam dots as well.

After all the cute scene I wanted to create something different so I left my comfort zone and voilà - this is the result ;-)

Thank you for stopping by and I'll see you soon!
