Christmas Card #25 | Mama Elephant

Hi there! Finally I can share a new card design with you. Since I love combining Christmas -and New Years-Wishes I created two cards at once with super cute  Mama Elephant supplies.

I startet with stamping adorable imags from the sets 'Hogs and Kisses', 'Holiday Bitties' and 'Joy Ornaments' mit Memento tuxedo black and coloring them with Copic markers. Some of them I also decorated with Nuvo glitter accents.

After that I prepared the backgrounds with red and blues distress inks. I faded the colors out in the centre of the cards. With the starry colors from Gansai I added some golden splatters.

I diecut the backgrounds with the die from 'Framed Tags Waverly' and heat embossed the stamp from 'Happy new Year Wishes' with golden embossing powder. Then I added the ornaments and also a diy sentiment strip.

For the inside I prepared a white cardstock and diecut the middle sized dies from the pop-up-trio set. I added the pigs with the bottle onto the pop up part. To create more interest I diecut the die from 'Dotted Details' from the panel.

After adhering everything to the card base the cards were all done. You can find the process steps also in the following photo story:

Thank you for stopping by and have a great new week!

Christmas Card #24 | Mama Elephant

Hello! I had some images left from the dailymarker30day challenge and finally put them into a card or a set of three cards (one Christmas and two birthday ones).

I started by masking off the bottom half of three white cardbases and blended some soft distress oxide colors on top of the cards. Then I diecut three frames with the 'framed tags par avenue' die and adhered them to the cardbases.

The images from 'cool penguins' were already prepared. They had been colored with Copic markers and three different color families.
Then I stamped the cute sentiment ("hope you like the present you told me to buy") from 'cool penguins' on all three cards in the upper left corner. Then I added with dye inks in the matching colors the occasion. I used the "Merry Christmas" from 'little Santa agenda' and the "Happy Birthday" from 'Cub Cuddles'.

Last but not least I added Nuvo Jewel Drops on top of the ink blending for more structure and interest.

Thank you very much for stopping by and have a great day!

Christmas Card #23 | Mama Elephant

Hello everyone! I have another very quick Christmas card to share with you. Again I created it with lots of different Mama Elephant products. Since I have been a fan for so long I have a great ME stash to mix and match :)

First I diecut 5 frames with the older 'polaroid fun' die. On the inside squares I stamped different Christmas images/critters.

I used the penguin from 'cool penguins', the Santa from 'Santa's sleigh', an elf from 'Christmas spirit', a sheep from 'wooly winter' and last but not least the cute rabbit from 'Pix's happy holiday'. I stamped them all with archival jet black ink. Then I colored them (and also some small images from 'holiday bitties' with my prismacolor pencils. Since I am not used to pencil coloring it took some time but except for the backgrounds I am satisfied with the result.

For the background I chose the cracked pistachio distress oxide color and the 'peppermint' stencil from Tim Holtz. I blended the color and added some color splatters.

I stamped some small Christmas greetings onto the little polaroid frames from holiday bitties and also 'little santa agenda'.

Last but not least I adhered everything to the background and used foam tape to glue it to a green cardbase.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!
