Blog Announcement

Hello everyone! I've already mentioned that the upcoming month will be very exhausting for me. That's why I have to pause my blog for this time. I'll be back with new posts in July. Until then I'll post card creations only on Instagram to save time. Thank you for your support and understanding!!

Fruity Friends | Clearly Besotted

Hi there! I am able to show you a new card today!! I used the totally awesome 'feeling fruity' set from Clearly Besotted.

Due to a very stressful time in the next two months I have to keep my blog entry very short and time-efficient. Therefore, I will only link the main products I used in the supply list. I promise that this will be more detailed starting July again. Thanks for your understanding!!

It is a rather simple card but the pop of colors makes it interesting and fun! I started out by stamping the mice with archival jet black ink onto waterccolor paper. Then I used water for the areas which I would paint with Gansai Tambi watercolors. I touched the wet areas carefully with my brush which was full of color. Then I let the water do the whole work :) I made one color at a time to prevent mixing the colors together.

The rest of the mice I colored in with Zig clean color real brush markers. Then I added the sentiments and die cut a piece of Lawn Fawn pattern paper with the 'all prettied up' die from Mama Elephant. Last but not least I adhered the layers to a black cardbase. I used grey and black for the layers to make the color pop even more and because it matches the grey mice perfectly.

I hope you have a wonderful day, thank you for stopping by!

Happy Birthday (in onesie) | Clearly Besotted

Hi everyone! So happy, that I had a chance to use some of the new Clearly Besotted stamps. The first card features the 'all in onesie' stamp set.

Due to a very stressful time in the next two months I have to keep my blog entry very short and time-efficient. Therefore, I will only link the main products I used in the supply list. I promise that this will be more detailed starting July again. Thanks for your understanding!!

I stamped the images onto a piece of watercolor paper, masked them off and blended spiced marmalade and scattered straw for the background. Then I colored in the images with Zig clean color real brush markers.

I cut down a piece of white cardstock to about 4,7" x 4,7" (12x12cm) and used the 'columbus circle' die from Mama Elephant. Then I cut a piece of watercolor paper to the same size and used the stitched, curved line from the 'dotted details' die set from Mama Elephant four times to create that special frame. I used the same distress inks as for the background to add some color to the frame. Then I stamped the happy birthday greeting from 'labeled messages', cut it out and adhered it (and all the other pieces) to the card.
Last but not least I added small googly eyes and sequins.

Thank you for stopping by and have a beautiful day!

Let's hang out | Clearly Besotted

Hello everyone! I made another card using the adorable monkeys from 'Cheeky Monkey' from Clearly Besotted.

Due to a very stressful time in the next two months I have to keep my blog entry very short and time-efficient. Therefore, I will only link the main products I used in the supply list. I promise that this will be more detailed starting July again. Thanks for your understanding!!

I started out by stamping and masking off the images on distress watercolor paper. Then I heat-embossed the bananas included in the set as well as the cute banana from 'little edibles' from Mama Elephant with white embossing powder. I blended the distress inks scattered straw and mustard seed on top of it. After that I colored the images in with Zig clean color real brush markers and added the sentiment and the grass.

I used a craft cardstock and stamped the leafs of the branch with Doe ink (Lawn Fawn). Then I adhered the little scene with yellow fun foam and double sided adhesive to the craft cardbase.

I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!!

Happy Birthday | Lawnscaping Challenge #129

Hi there! I created this birthday card for the 129th lawnscaping challenge which is all about critters.

Due to a very stressful time in the next two months I have to keep my blog entry very short and time-efficient. Therefore, I will only link the main products I used in the supply list. I promise that this will be more detailed starting July again. Thanks for your understanding!!

I used some different stamp sets from Lawn Fawn to create that little critter-selfie using the polaroid die from Mama Elephant. I colored them in with Copic markers and created a background with coordinating distress ink pads (scattered straw, milled lavender, cracked pistachio). I also added white polka dots with Yeti ink, a sponge dauber and a bubbles stencil. Then I stamped the sentiment on top of the polaroid frame and adhered it to the background. Last but not least I added some sequins and two balloons.

I hope you like my card and I'll see you soon,

It's your birthday - go banana!! | Clearly Besotted

Hi everyone! I am back with a new card using Clearly Besotted, Hero Arts, Mama Elephant and Altenew stamps.

Due to a very stressful time in the next two months I have to keep my blog entry very short and time-efficient. Therefore, I will only link the main products I used in the supply list. I promise that this will be more detailed starting July again. Thanks for your understanding!!
I startet this card by stamping the adorable monkeys and masked them off with Inkadinkado masking paper. Than I added the leafs from Hero Arts and Altenew with Hero Arts Shadow Inks. I tried to avoid masking whenever it was possible ;) I also added some bananas from the 'Little Edibles' stamp set from Mama Elephant. Then I colored the monkeys and the bananas with Copic markers.

I die cut a circle shape out of the paper using a die from 'Dotted Details' from Mama Elephant. The inlay I colored in with Copic markers too and added the sentiment and a banana. I clued the pieces to a yellow card base and the card was all finished!!

I love the cute monkeys compared with the bananas - I even have another projects in mind with those two stamp sets!! :)
Thank you for stopping by,
