Cooling Off | Clearly Besotted Teasers June

Hello everyone! I am so excited and honored to be guest designer for Clearly Besotted for the June release! I love the cute images of this lovely stamp company. I hope you will be inspired by my card creations.

For this day I am using the 'cooling off' stamp set which is one of the cute smaller sets. The hippos in this set are just too adorable :)

I started with my background using the distress resist spray on a watercolor cardstock. Then I applied dried marigold distress ink on top of it and used the spray again. Last but not least I also added some spiced marmalade distress ink on two of the edges. I diecut a small rectangular window from the background.

Then I used a white cardstock and added some dots with Copic markers. I had created my own small stencil for this (just use a whole puncher and use the negative piece as a stencil) In the middle of the window I stamped the sentiment included in the set.

I chose two of the cute hippos and colored them in with my Copic markers. I added some dots to create more detail. Last but not least I adhered the hippos with foam dots to the background.

Happy Hibiscus | Clearly Besotted Teasers June

Hello there! Today is the day - it' release time :) I had so much fun guest designing for Clearly Besotted and I hope I could inspire some of you! Thank you for your support and now I am showing you my last project for the June release teasers.

The 'happy hibiscus' stamp set is another one of the beautiful small flower stamp sets from Clearly Besotted! I love coloring these and they can be used for any occasion.

I compared the happy hibiscus stamp set with the 'happy hula' set from last months release. This little dancer is so cute. I stamped everything onto a Copic friendly paper using some selfmade masks to "layer" the images. Then I colored them in with Copic markers.

I added the sentiment included in the set and sprinkled some color dots. I also created a light orange shine around the image.

Thank you for stopping by and stay tuned for more awesome products and teasers!

Flutter By Me | Clearly Besotted Teasers June

Hello there! I am so excited and honored to be guest designer for Clearly Besotted for the June release! I love the cute images of this lovely stamp company. I hope you will be inspired by my card creations.

'Flutter by me' is beautiful stamp set with the outlined and filled butterfly images. For my cards I decided to only use the outlined ones.

I took two pieces of watercolor paper and stamped the butterflies with Versamark. Then I heatembossed them with white embossing powder. Next I applied some watercolors on top of the embossed images. I chose a rainbow color palette to go along with the sentiment.

I made one vibrant rainbow and a lighter version. After it was dry I stamped the encouraging sentiments and cut the watercolor pieces to strips of paper.

I chose one dark grey and one white card base for my projects and added a strip of glitter paper too.

Last but not least I adhered some clear sequins.

Thank you for stopping by and stay tuned for more awesome products and teasers!

Pawfect Plushies | Clearly Besotted Teasers June

Hello there! I am so excited and honored to be guest designer for Clearly Besotted for the June release! I love the cute images of this lovely stamp company. I hope you will be inspired by my card creations.

The 'pawfect plushies' stamp set contains such adorable plush cats and dogs - they are perfect for sweet baby cards! Like always I love the font of the sentiments in the set.

For my teaser I used two cat and two dog images and colored them in with Copic markers. I fuzzy cut and set them aside to work on my background.

I created a square stencil with a square die set and created four square areas on a white cardbase. I didn't use watercolor paper but adhered the ink directly onto the card base. Due to that I chose distress oxide inks because in my opinion they blend better on normal paper than distress inks. I chose neutral colors to be able to send this card for a newborn boy or girl. The colors I used are tattered rose, shaded lilac, squeezed lemonade and cracked pistachio.

I diecut four smaller squares and used the same colors to sprinkle some color dots. Then I adhered the squares to my cardbase with foam dots and used liquid glue for the cute plushies. I stamped the sentiment and adhered some clear sequins. With Nuvo drops I added some details to the eyes.

Mix it up | Cleary Besotted Teasers June

Hello everyone! I am so excited and honored to be guest designer for Clearly Besotted for the June release! I love the cute images of this lovely stamp company. I hope you will be inspired by my card creations.

Today's mini stamp set 'mix it up' is so awesome! I love the beautifully decorated cocktails - they are so much fun to color.

I created this one layer card for the 30th birthday of a friend. I stamped the images and created masks to cover them up. Then I applied picked raspberry distress ink on top of the watercolor paper. For the desk I used pumic stone distress ink. I sprinkled some water and color doplets too.

For coloring the cocktails I used Zig clean color real brush markers and decorated every glass with some Nuvo glitter drops.

The sentiment is a mix between an older stamp set from Clearly Besotted which I reach quite often for 'brushed greetings' and the sentiment included in the mix it up set.
I even added the number 30 with Nuvo glitter drops. To create some contrast I chose a dark grey metallic cardbase.

Player No. 2 | Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! I am super excited about the new Lawn Fawn release! The interactive possibilities are endless and they don't take so much time either.

I wanted to use the new adorable stamp set "screen time" togehter with the "reveal wheel" die and I was so happy that my idea turned out well.

I started by diecutting the large piece of the reveal wheel twice. For one of them I also used the "reveal wheel speech bubble add-on" die and blended some distress inks. I scattered some water droplets and stamped some hearts in grey hippo ink to finish up the background.

Then i diecut the wheel and also the circle shape for adhering the it to the second base diecut. I stamped the cute sentiments included in the set screen time with hippo ink too.

The images are stamped with Memento tuxedo black and colored in with Copics.
I diecut them and adhered everything to the card front. Then I used foam tape to put the interactive part together. I chose a dark grey card base.

It is so awesome that the add-on die fits into the computer/tv. I had this idea immediately but wasn't sure if it is the right size :)

Thank you for stopping by and have an awesome day!
