Happy Birthday | MFT

Hey there! I am back with a birthday card which turned out just the way I imagined ;-)

 
I created the watercolored background by white heat embossing the 'etched flower' background stamp from My favorite things and colored it in with green Gansai Tambi watercolors. Then I blended green, brown and yellow distress inks on a piece of watercolor paper and diecut the images from 'jungle friends' from that paper. I added some details with Zig clean color real brush markers and adhered everything to the background.

I also diecut the 'birthday border' (Lawn Fawn) from some pattern paper and added yellow enamel dots from my stash. In order to round up the color scheme I chose a craft card base.

Rainbows and eternal Happiness | Mama Elephant

Hello everyone! I really love making colorful clouds so I decided to create a background with them in rainbow order. The 'unicorns and rainbows' stamp set from Mama Elephant was just perfect for it.

After creating all the clouds with a diy-stencil using the cloud 'landscape trio' die and some distress inks I stamped the two unicorns and some additional images in the same ink colors. With water and a darker shade of the colors I filled in the images. Nevertheless, it has kind of a transluscent look to it and I reall like this.

I stamped a sentiment included in the stamp set with a grey ink and added Wink of Stella shimmer to all the images. Last but not least I also used Nuvo drops for more details.
