Rock On | Mama Elephant

Hi everyone! The last two weeks are really tough for me - so many deadlines and only short times at home. However, I try to keep pace with the dailymarker30challenge and color every day.

I colored in some the cute images from 'Rock and Paws' and 'Animal Parade' with Copic markers. Then I decided on which background to use. I really like the hillside cover die but it's a portrait layout and I needed a landscape one.

So I created my own "hillside" cover with dies from 'dotted details'. I used distress inks (twisted citron, mustard seed, squeezed lemonade) to blend some colors and sprinkled some water/color droplets.

I adhered all the sweet band members to the scene and chose a craft cardbase to finish the card.

I hope you have a wonderful week and thank you for stopping by!

Dragon Power | Mama Elephant

Hello everyone! The dragons from Mama Elelphants 'me and my dragon' set are just too cute. I combined the set with 'dragon wishes' and also some dies from Mama Elephant.

I used dried marigold and spiced marmalade distress inks for the background and diecut it with the large die of 'sew fancy'. Then I created a little city out of clouds by combining the cloud die from 'landscrape trio' and the city skyline from 'kingdom trio'.

I stamped the images with Memento tuxedo black and colored them in with Copic markers. After diecutting them I adhered everything to the card (I used foam dots for the big dragon).
Last but not least I added the sentiment from the dragon wishes set.

Thank you for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Lawnfawnatics challenge #29 | Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! We have a wonderful summer weather here in Austria, so I am in the mood for some ocean-themed cards :)

I was inspired by the inspiration board from the Lawnfawnatics challenge #29 and so I enter this card for the challenge too.

I started by creating a watercolor ocean background using all kind of different blues from my Mijello Mission gold watercolor palette. I wanted a dark outside and a very light center.

Then I stamped several images from Lawn Fawn stamp sets (Mermaid for You, You are sublime, Duh-nuh) and colored them in with Copic markers. I diecut them and used the largest of the 'stitched rectangle stackabled LG' dies from Lawn Fawn for my background.

At the beginning I wanted to create an interactive card but then I didn't want to steal the show from all these cute images. So I layered a bunch of the diecut images and adhered them to the card.

I added some accents with clear Nuvo drops and a white gel pen.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
